This article reports on a project in a British social work agency. The central aim of the project was to train and encourage social workers to apply single-case evaluation designs. Following some training, 21 social workers applied the designs in 83 cases, demonstrating considerable commitment. At the time of writing, changes are being made in the agency's policies, procedures, and practices to facilitate the use of single-case evaluation designs in the daily work of the agency's staff. Both quantitative and qualitative measures were used, and a large number of cases involved nonbehavioral interventions.
